About Us

Rare Wear Studio was founded in 2020 by Ilana Sedaka. Ilana, young and eccentric, stepped up to pursue her interest in curating a place where the next generation can not only keep up with fashion trends but, understand the concepts behind these trends and why they change every day. Growing up, Ilana found herself always being drawn to express via fashion, “tell a statement through what people see you in”, Ilana says. Her major in international business at Macaulay Honors College allows Ilana to link her studies into her creative realm. Being in a society where following the rest is what is expected, Ilana continues to make her own norms through a rare style.
